Easter was special, my beautiful, beautiful sister came from Melbourne.  Every time I said, “Tattie is coming” the kids replied loudly “AND DAVE”. She brought with her the happy, relaxed and fun Dave, the kids don’t call him uncle Dave…yet!   As if having Tattie and Dave wasn’t enough fun my gorgeous childhood friend Kate came down from Sydney with her man Martin.  We were all well entertained, fed, nurtured and loved by special family and friends.  I am a little sad we are not in the same city because these people are good for my soul.

Our littlest precious bundle was asleep when it was time for the big two to have lights out. Fox asked me to snuggle him, Marco was snuggling Poppy.  Lying there in the dark the small people each whispering to their snuggling parent I feel so blessed.  Not just because it is the end of the day and they are tucked up in bed… No, more than blessed to have adult time, I am blessed to have kids!  Deeply blessed to have Marco!

There was a little easter egg hunt, and the kids hunted for the contents of one small bag of the small solid eggs, plus they each had a medium egg from Tattie and our mate Bob.  The haul was pretty small by Australian standards, but big for our two.  In bed at lights out Fox offered me two of his small solid eggs “Do you know why I want you to have them?” he asked “because I love you”.  Ohhhhh I so love him!  He really is a generous soul that boy.
