Poppy had a lovely day. We were home in the morning for the first time in what feels like ages. My physio appointment wasn’t until early afternoon so Poppy could stay in PJ’s and play. We read, made Anzac slice, drank peppermint tea, Gil had the chance to sleep in his bed, there were books read, I even managed to put on a load of washing. A productive morning it was lovely, lovely, lovely.
By dinner things changed it wasn’t pleasant anymore, whingeing children, teasing each other and being anything but lovely. I asked Fox to think of three things he likes about Daddy I can’t remember what he said but it changed the mood. He went on to say three things he likes about Poppy, Mama and Gil. It was Poppy’s turn next she didn’t quiet get it, she talked about things she likes to do with each of us, still it was sweet. I’ll be using this strategy again.
